A REAL FISHERMANS TALE

One fine day I went fishing to a lake in north Wales it, was about 15 years ago. I made a packed lunch and a flask of coffee. I arrived at the lake about 9 AM and started fishing, I was using nymphs and I fished till about 1 PM without any luck, not even a bite, then I stopped to grab a bite to eat and a cup of coffee for my lunch then I carried on fishing till about 5 PM.
Still unlucky by this time, I was getting a bit tired and I was the only one left at the lake. I stopped fishing for a while and had a cup of coffee, then I looked into my lunch box but there was no food left only a packet of digestive biscuits, I ate a couple of them and then I spotted some seagulls hovering over head.
I grabbed a couple of the biscuits and threw them at the gulls, they landed in the water and the gulls came swooping down to eat the biscuits. I waited for a few seconds, by this time the gulls had gone I threw a couple more biscuits in the water, the gulls swooped down again, but before they had a chance to reach the biscuits I heard this almighty bang it must have been a bird scarer at the farm over the other side of the lake... the gulls scattered and left the biscuits floating on the water. I turned away to see if I could see where the bang came from, I was looking around and then I heard something splashing in the water, then, to my amazement I turned around to see the water was boiling with trout it must have been the digestive biscuits.
I had to think quick I changed the flies and put a floating deer hair muddler on the line by this time all the biscuits had been eaten and the water was calm, and still I looked in the lunch box to find that there was only two biscuits left.
I crumbled them up and threw a bit in the water... then the water started to boil again, I cast in, and straight away I hooked a fish it was a 3 LB rainbow.
Then I thought to my self, this is ground baiting, but I was fly fishing.

Well there are no rules to say you cant ground bait at some lakes are there, anyway, I ended the day with my limit of fish two 2LB rainbows one 3LB rainbow and another three rainbows of about 4 lb... did I cheat or not? well I wont say anything if you won't.
